![]() ![]() ![]() Movesets: Probably the part I'm most torn on. Doesn't seem to me like it would add that much fun and it would definitely be super annoying in multiple cases. Move Data: Never touched it and never will touch it. Having multiple evolutions to go gives you something to look forward to and a reason to try and keep them alive to the end. Starting with a fully evolved Pokemon or a legendary can be funny but I feel like you just don't get the same bond out of it. Starters: I think my most enjoyable nuzlockes have come from using the base form with 2 evolutions option. Keeping them the same also helps give a feel of progression/growth to the teams IMO. I tried it once and got some fun combinations but it's far too unpredictable for a nuzlocke since you can never know what to expect unless you've seen the Pokemon before.Įvolutions: I also don't like randomizing these mostly because I think the disappointment of evolving, say, a Dragonair into a Magikarp is not worth the excitement of evolving a Caterpie into a Lugia. Doesn't change enough to make it impossible to know what to expect but it can result in some really cool Pokemon More often than not the shuffle ends up being annoying rather than fun.Ībilities: Always randomize this. ![]() I'm going to cover my own ideas/opinions based on UPR's options but I'd like to know where everyone stands on these thingsīase Stats: Not a fan of this option. So I wanted to start a discussion on randomizer settings after trying to do a completely random Platinum nuzlocke and failing it almost immediately.
